Air Canada Cargo has launched its redesigned eBooking platform, aimed at providing a more efficient, intuitive and self-managed digital experience for customers shipping cargo across its network.
The updated platform introduces a streamlined interface and a suite of new features that simplify the booking process and empower users to manage shipments more independently. Among the enhancements are dynamic booking flows, real-time feedback to reduce errors, and an improved account dashboard that provides an at-a-glance view of active shipments.
“We are excited to reveal our updated eBooking experience, which provides a more user-friendly interface and a smoother experience for our customers booking their cargo online,” said Matthieu Casey, managing director – commercial at Air Canada Cargo. “With the ability to get real-time feedback and validation, easily create batch bookings, e-AWB, submit release letters and more, this new platform will transform the customer experience and is part of Air Canada Cargo’s ongoing digitalisation.”
Customers can now benefit from auto-confirmation for general cargo shipments under 50kg, significantly reducing the time spent on smaller bookings. The system also allows users to create multi-bookings in minutes, save booking templates for fast rebooking, and receive tracking notifications via email.
Additional functionality includes the ability to generate electronic airwaybills (e-AWB), edit bookings, manage shipper and consignee details, and submit release letters – all from a centralised dashboard. A built-in feedback tool enables users to submit questions or suggestions directly through the platform.
The launch is part of Air Canada Cargo’s broader digital transformation strategy, which aims to improve customer experience through automation and smarter workflows, while supporting the airline’s growing international cargo operations.
