UK leisure carrier Jet2.com targets corporate bookers with Kyte partnership

UK leisure airline Jet2.com is to target more business travel bookings through a tie-up with Kyte, the airline technology specialist.

Kyte has developed modern API connectivity for airlines to support their product distribution and which standardises both New Distribution Capability and low cost content.

Jet2.com, the UK’s third largest airline, will use its platform to with more travel sellers including Travel Management Companies and Corporate Booking Tools.

Due to the new agreement seats with Jet2.com will now be available on the Kyte platform, with all ancillaries also available.

Through Kyte’s interface travel sellers can build connections with airlines to offer the full suite of fares and ancillaries for their end users.

Jet2.com’s content from Kyte will also be made available through partners like AirGateway for those agencies needing a desktop solution.

Jet2.com has developed a reputation for VIP customer service, operational excellence, and low fares, distinguishing itself in the leisure travel sector.

It will operate a fleet of 135 aircraft this summer, which includes Boeing 737 and Airbus A321 neo aircraft, serving a network from 13 UK bases that spans over 75 destinations, primarily across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and European leisure cities.
