Developed in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment, the new purpose-built cargo facility will further reinforce Jordan’s position as a premier regional logistics and air cargo hub.

The new 8,000 sqm terminal is equipped with cutting-edge technologies designed to optimise efficiency and streamline cargo operations. Key features include Automated Elevating Transfer Vehicles (ETVs) for seamless internal cargo movement, a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking system offering 2,400 pallet positions for maximsed storage capacity, and Menzies Aviation’s end-to-end cargo management system, MACH, which integrates billing, documentation, and real-time cargo tracking.

The facility also houses dedicated zones for perishables, pharmaceuticals, and general freight, and has contributed to the expansion of Menzies Aviation’s Jordanian workforce to approximately 480 employees, delivering ground and cargo services, with further job opportunities expected as operations continue to grow.

This marks the 73rd cargo terminal in our growing global network – spanning from Amman to Bogotá, Auckland to London, and Johannesburg to San Francisco. Each new location is a testament to our unwavering commitment to operational excellence, strategic growth, and delivering world-class cargo solutions wherever our customers need us.”
