Independent General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA), 4RCargo, has appointed Roman Taborsky as its new country manager for Austria, as the company strengthens its foothold in key Central European air freight markets.
Austria serves as an important hub for pharmaceutical, luxury, and consumer goods shipments, and 4RCargo says the appointment reflects growing demand for air freight capacity across major gateways including Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Graz, and Linz.
“GSSAs need strong local experience, with reliable and resilient solutions for airlines and their customers,” said Pawel Kazmierczak, managing director of 4RCargo. “Roman brings over a decade of experience in the Austrian air cargo market and shares our innovative mindset to drive growth in the region.”
Taborsky, who brings a track record of leadership in Austria’s air cargo sector, will oversee business development and client relationships across the country.
“4RCargo is committed to being a true GSSA partner for airlines, while innovating and investing in the future,” Taborsky said. “The Austrian market is very competitive, and 4RCargo’s reliable and hands-on approach to service is perfect for these dynamic conditions. I am excited to lead business development in this area.”
The appointment follows continued regional expansion by 4RCargo, including new offices in Bratislava, Slovakia, and a broader service offering across Hungary and Austria.
