Air Europa to start global roll out of Retailaer distribution platform in Spain
Spain’s third largest airline Air Europa is to begin the roll out of a new distribution and retailing platform with Ratailaer.
A first phase of the roll out will focus on select partners in Spain who will be given access to the new global shopping and ancillaries Offer and Order Management System (OMS).
The Retailaer platform is a next-generation distribution platform built support travel agents accessing airlines’ New Distribution Capability fares and content.
Air Europa’s initial launch in Spain will come before a global rollout later in the year.
The airline said the partnership with Retailaer sets “a new standard in the airline industry, demonstrating how modern technologies can deliver a more responsive and personalised experience for travel agents booking with airlines”.
Air Europa will benefit from Retailaer’s modular approach that supports other retail technology partners including PROS Group Sales Optimiser solution and IATA Financial Gateway.
