Airbus recognises Mankiewicz with dual honours
Coatings manufacturer Mankiewicz has been recognised by Airbus for its outstanding supply chain performance and digital innovation, earning two accolades as part of the aircraft manufacturer’s annual Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program (SQIP).
For the third consecutive year, Mankiewicz received the Accredited Supplier award in the ‘Materials & Parts’ category – retaining its status at the highest achievable level. The recognition is reserved for suppliers that demonstrate consistently high standards in product quality, delivery reliability and collaborative partnership with Airbus.
In addition to this, Mankiewicz was presented with the Special Award for Digitalisation. This award acknowledges the company’s development of a digital system that streamlines internal material management, improving information flow between departments and boosting efficiency and transparency across its operations.
The SQIP initiative is part of Airbus’s broader effort to strengthen its global supply chain by recognising and promoting top-performing partners.
René Lang, executive managing director of aviation at Mankiewicz, said: “We are incredibly proud of our entire team. Receiving both the Accredited Supplier status and the digitalisation award is a strong validation of our commitment to customer service, quality, and digital progress. We look forward to continuing our close and trusted collaboration with Airbus.”
