Coatings manufacturer Mankiewicz has received two supplier awards by Airbus during the Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Programme Supplier Day, better known as SQIP. The company, which has been named as an accredited supplier, is also the only one to be awarded with the special prize for operational excellence.

The award is presented annually to suppliers that have delivered excellent product quality and delivery reliability. In this case, operational excellence is defined as the ability to ‘continuously optimise processes and systems across the entire value chain by following a clear strategy, implementing best practice processes and achieving the highest performance’ in a well-structured organisation.
