As an AFRA-accredited and insured turbine engine disassembly facility in Miami, Florida, MD Turbines stands as a symbol of reliability and excellence, with a management team led by president Manny De Jesus, comprising industry veterans, ensuring a wealth of experience in aviation.
Engine teardown excellence
MD Turbines achieved a significant milestone in 2023 by successfully completing over 250 engine teardowns, showcasing a remarkable 9.6 per cent increase from the previous year. With a dedicated team and leadership, we are poised to meet the competitive demands of engine teardowns in 2024, aiming to surpass the accomplishments of the previous year.

As vice president of teardown, I bring expertise to disassembly operations, ensuring precision and efficiency to exceed client expectations. Matt Maritza, vice president of logistics, leads a dynamic team in providing top-notch transportation solutions, while Jessie Cardenas, vice president of repairs, oversees the continuous growth of repair capabilities.
Logistics excellence
MD Turbines Logistics operates a fleet of over 40 air-ride, satellite-equipped trucks, holding CTPAT certification for secure transportation. The logistics team exemplifies MD Turbines’ mission to exceed client expectations, with an ambitious goal to expand its fleet to over 50 air-ride trucks.

Repair capabilities and certifications
MD Turbines Repairs, a FAA 145 repair station with EASA 145.6801 certification, offers a comprehensive range of services, including Automated NDT. In-house and on-wing repair capabilities continue to grow, showcasing the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in aviation repairs. MD Turbines Repairs continues to invest in state-of-the-art equipment to meet the growing needs of our clients and the industry.
Supply chain expansion
MD Turbines provides ASA-100.00-56 certified supply chain services. We are expanding our storage capacity from 230,000 to 415,000 sq. ft. in Summer 2024, supporting sustainable growth for customers by managing, integrating, and streamlining turbine engines, engine stands, and parts planning and fulfilment.
