The London-based studio will partner with other industry suppliers in the Alliance, to push ahead on three key aims for cabin interiors: to drive awareness and understanding of sustainability issues in the sector; to promote more sustainable materials, processes and products; and to facilitate a collective shift to more sustainable practices.

James Park, chairman and founder of JPA Design, said of the move: “As a provider of design services to many of the world’s largest airlines, we understand our clients need to ensure that sustainability of a core part of their design process. We are proud to be the first design agency to recognise the importance of industry collaboration in this area and the future benefits it brings.“

Elina Kopola, director and founder of the Green Cabin Alliance added, “Our Alliance aims to reach as much of the aviation industry as possible which is why we are especially grateful to have JPA Design join us to help bring about a step change in sustainability for the cabin interiors industry.”
