JPA Design has completed a lounge at Brussels Airport, commissioned by the Brussels Airport Company (BAC).

Named The View for its dual-aspect windows overlooking the apron and runways, this visionary design delivers a luxurious, multi-zoned space that blends functionality with comfort.

Conceived by JPA Design  and crafted by Atelier Mestdagh, a local stained-glass specialist known for restoration work on cathedrals and heritage sites, the bar element captures the intricate beauty of Art Nouveau design, combining four distinct textures of pure stained glass with refined decorative metalwork that elegantly frames the bar, adding richness and visual depth to the space.

Surrounding the bar, intimate two-person booths with privacy screens provide a private space for guests.

Alex Duncan, the Design Director at JPA Interiors, commented: “We set out to create a space that embodies the spirit of Brussels, sophisticated yet playful, steeped in history yet forward-thinking. As with all the airport lounges and aircraft interiors that we design, our main objective is to create environments where the premier traveller can enjoy a 5-star hospitality experience that provides an oasis from the stresses of travel”.
